What To Expect

Our Sunday Morning worship consists of worship through songs, Scripture readings, prayer, a children’s focus, and expository preaching. Following our worship service, we enjoy prayer and discussion around the message in intergenerational small groups. During the week we gather in Life Groups and Discipleship Groups in our communities.

Children’s Ministries

At BHBC, we use a variety of well-designed, age-appropriate curricula to instill instruct our children in the truth of the Gospel and instill an appreciation of the glory of God. We strive to introduce each child to the Big Story of Scripture, provide organized instruction in doctrine, present the history and heroes of Christ’s church, and demonstrate how to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

We support families by providing:

  • Nursery for all of our worship services.

  • Children’s Church for ages 3 through 6 following our song service.

  • Age-differentiated Sunday School classes for K3 through Teens after the service.

  • A Midweek Bible Club during the Summer (see “Events” for more information).

Music

We include a reverential selection of both older and newer songs rich in praise and doctrine.

Attire

We recognize that respectful attire varies from person to person and culture to culture. You will find attendees wearing anything from suits to shorts.
