Pick a few of the following questions for discussion:
· Read: Exodus 35:4–5, 20–21 cf. 1 Chronicles 29:14ff. Discuss: There was no quota, pledge card, or public list — only an invitation to willing hearts. Think through how the text points out the idea of willing “hearts" and reflect on how this opportunity was also a privilege for these people.
· Read: Exodus 32:2–3 with Exodus 35:22 Discuss: Same people, same gold, different altar. Name something in your life that once served the wrong purpose and could now be offered to God.
· Read: Exodus 35:30–35 Discuss: The first person Scripture says was filled with the Spirit was a craftsman — filled to design, cut stone, and work metal. What skill do you have that you’ve never thought of as spiritual?
· Read: Exodus 35:34 with 2 Timothy 2:2 Discuss: Bezalel was given skill and the ability to teach it. Who taught you what you know how to do? Who could you be teaching now?
